Consider This: Ranch Dressing


Dry Hidden Valley Ranch:
Maltodextrin, Buttermilk, Salt, Monosodium Glutamate, Dried Garlic, Dried Onion, Lactic Acid, Calcium Lactate, Citric Acid, Spices, Artificial Flavor, Xanthan Gum, Calcium Stearate, Carboxymethylcellulose, Guar Gum.

Homemade Dry Ranch Mix:
buttermilk powder, parsley, dill, onion, salt, garlic, salt, pepper

The Recipe:
1/2 cup dry buttermilk powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley, crushed
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Combine all ingredients in the container of a food processor or
blender and process on high speed until well blended and powdery
smooth.

To use mix: Combine 1 tablespoon dry mix with 1 cup milk and 1 cup
mayonnaise. Mix well.
Makes 2 cups salad dressing

Ingredients Ranch Dressing
Vegetable Oil (Canola Oil and/or Soybean Oil), Egg Yolk, Sugar, Salt, Cultured Nonfat Buttermilk, Natural Flavor, Spices, less than 1% of Garlic (Dried), Onion, Vinegar, Phosphoric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Modified Food Starch, Monosodium Glutamate, Artificial Flavors, Disodium Phosphate, Sorbic Acid and Calcium Disodium Edta As Preservatives, Disodium Inosinate and Disodium Guanylate.

Ingredients Homemade Ranch Dressing
buttermilk, sour cream, chives, parsley, dill, garlic, onion, salt, pepper


Ranch Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Mix and refrigerate for 30 minutes.





Buttermilk Dressing

3/4 cup
mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp dried minced onion
1/2 tsp salt
dash of freshly ground pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed

Mix and refrigerate for at least two hours.
